1. What the Service is

Lookara compiles publicly available and licensed information into reverse-lookup and personal-safety reports. Each finding is labeled with a source and a confidence score.

Lookara is not a consumer reporting agency and this is not a consumer report under the FCRA. Do not use it for employment, tenant, credit, or insurance decisions.

2. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited uses include stalking, harassment, doxxing, and any FCRA-covered decision (employment, tenancy, credit, insurance).

4. Subscriptions, trials & billing

The Service is offered on a trial-to-subscription basis. Your trial price, renewal price, renewal date, and billing cadence are disclosed at checkout and on your account page.

How the trial price is charged. Depending on your card, the trial price may be processed as two transactions that add up to the disclosed amount: the first activates your trial, the second confirms that your card accepts the recurring charges the subscription needs. If your card declines the second one, both are released and nothing is charged.

What each period includes. The trial (7 days, or the shorter period stated at checkout where an offer says so) includes 1 lookup. Each 28-day billing cycle of the subscription includes 10 lookups. Unused lookups carry no cash value.

Subscriptions renew automatically every 28 days (4 weeks, 13 billing cycles per year) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in one tap from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Who can cancel. Cancellations, and any other request concerning the account or its data, are handled only with the account holder, verified through the email address registered on the account: from the cancellation page, or by a reply from that address. We do not accept or act on cancellation, account or data requests submitted by third-party subscription-cancellation services, apps, or other representatives we have not authorised.

One month, no subscription. From the pricing page you can instead pay the plan price once for 28 days of access and the same number of lookups a billing cycle grants. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel; when the 28 days end, access ends unless you buy again.

Your responsibility. By purchasing the trial you enter a subscription that begins automatically when the trial ends. Cancelling before that point is yours to do, and you confirm at checkout that you accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy. We record which version you accepted and the date. A trial that is not cancelled before it ends converts and the charge is due. Our Refund Policy then gives you 30 days from your first enrolment to ask for that charge back; raised after those 30 days have run out, it stands. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

5. Credits

Lookups consume credits, one per lookup. The trial includes 1 lookup and each 28-day billing cycle includes 10; additional credits may be purchased in packs. Credits have no cash value and may expire as described at purchase.

6. Accuracy & no warranty

Public data is imperfect and changes over time. We present confidence scores and sources so you can judge each finding, but we do not warrant that any result is complete or error-free. The Service is provided "as is."

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
